My name is Natalie and I live with my husband, Paul, in Minnesota.
We share our place with two snuggly rescue cats, Coffee & Scotch, and our dog, Islay [eye-la].
I teach a photo business course at theMinneapolis Photo Center. It was inspired by my own experiences as I’ve built my business and the desire to help others achieve that dream. I believe we all have something a little different and unique to offer the photo world & that building a strong community of photographers is the way to go.
I also am the founder of A Face Project. A Face Project is a collection of microdocumentaries and was created in order to honor the art of storytelling as well as offer a place for people to visit that is motivational, entertaining, educational, and inspirational. Anyone can participate and you can learn all about it atwww.afaceproject.com
My photo approach is a mix of classic and candid. I like to use the latest technology to add a unique flare to my work while maintaining a style that is timeless. My wedding photography style centers around my love of storytelling and documenting your day in a way that can be told like a story, only using photographs instead of words. You’ll find a mix of candids, formals, portraits, and details in my wedding stories. Here’s a slideshow sample of a gorgeous rustic wedding here in Minnesota. You can also visit the portfolio menu above for more samples of weddings & other work.
